3D Printing in the Classroom: Maker Faire NY 2015

A big thanks to World Maker Faire New York 2015 for allowing me to share my story of 3D Printing in the Classroom http://makerfaire.com/maker/entry/52069/

The purpose of the presentation is to share a snapshots of multiple examples of 3D printing that address significant content and important competencies. These are real examples of models that have been printed for my school.

I would love to hear how you are using 3D printing in your school. Leave a comment or contact me on Twitter @designmaketeach. More importantly, please share your 3D content and student work via your blog or on Thingiverse and keyword it K12. Include specifics about grade level and class in the description of your work so that other educators can find it with a search.

The full Keynote presentation file can be found here. Please ask if you want to use any of the photos. There are bonus slides at the end in anticipation of questions during the presentation.
