Google My Maps – 3D Printing on the Map

Quick experiment today using Google My Maps as a way for students to use technology to visualize and present information. A personal map that I’ve made using Google My Maps is a Virginia Vacation map for visiting friends and relatives showing places to visit, restaurants and my kid’s favorite playgrounds and activities.

The example I’m sharing today is 3D Printing on the Map which shows 3D printing festivals and faires,  retailers, manufacturers, conferences and services. Part of the experiment is that the link allows users logged into a Google account the ability to add to the map. Click on the map below to check it out.
