Snap-on delivered big time today with the donation of a rolling tool chest to the Dominion High School Makerspace. The custom maker tool chest was one of the prize for winners of the US Department of Education’s CTE Makeover Challenge. The chest itself has a beautiful custom wrap with the school and contest logos.
The contents includes a wide assortment of Snap-on branded tools from basic hand tools to drills and a soldering station. Each tool has a spot cut out of laser cut foam. The full value of the entire tool set is ~$15,000. We are really blown away by this generous gift.
Not sure if this configuration is available for sale but the set is definitely a great starting point for a school makerspace. Thumbs up from Mr. Baker!

BOOM – lots a great years with that set.
I’d suggest “losing” a small tool, that way you can, you know, really use it immediately….hahhaha.
