DesignMakeTeach Pivots to Blockchain
We are excited to announce that DesignMakeTeach is pivoting to blockchain. We see this as an amazing opportunity to continue the stellar growth of the DesignMakeTeach brand since our founding in 2013. Never before has it been easier to securely share tips, tricks and tutorials focused on digital fabrication and making in the classroom. By leveraging cryptocurrency technology, DesignMakeTeach will gain strategic control of the K12 3D printing market and make significant advances into the competitive K12 CNC, K12 Vinyl Cutting and K12 MakerEd markets.

The initial offering of block related technology include immediate release of STL encrypted version of the Blockhead Blank models and Blockhead Ninja.
DesignMakeTeach block technology will continue growth with unique personalized blockheads including Blockhead Brook, Blockhead Noe and Blockhead Norm.
The DesignMakeTeach blockchain roadmap includes the introduction of Blockium. Blockium will be the only cryptocurrency based on the design, making and sharing of unique 3D models and lessons for the education community. Rather than mining through arbitrary calculations, Blockium miners will be adding value directly to the education community in a secure, distributed, verifiable and anonymous crypto-blockchain system. Blockium’s world-class security is maintained through a double-blind system in which the DesignMakeTeach coders and user base have access only through comments left on 3-minute YouTube videos explaining how Blockium works.
DesignMakeTeach is located in data-center alley in Northern Virginia only miles from the future location of Amazon HQ2. This ensures lightning fast access to the internet backbone while giving DesignMakeTeach a firm foothold in the Silicon Valley of the East.
DesignMakeTeach is truly an innovator.
Sincerely,
Chief Blockhead

It’s been a busy school year, so I hadn’t gotten around to your blog until just now. As I read this I thought how bizarre. Block-chain cryptocurrency just for 3D printing?? Then Iooked at the date. Good one. You had me, but to my credit it’s now June 14th.
